It's Been Delicious

I am a thirty-something momma to my two beautiful boys and handsome Golden Retriever. While mothering and spousing takes up a whole lot of my time, I try my best to dedicate enough time and effort to myself and my passions: yoga, writing, connecting with nature and my community, reading, exercising my creativity (may it be scrapbooking, editing photographs, or knitting...). Also, I have recently embarked on what will quite likely be a life-long journey of self-discovery and self-growth. My first goal of this project is to make gratitude an automated function of my being, as is breathing: automatic, involuntary and continuous. Hence, my public daily Gratitude Journal, which I hope will inspire you to live life with your heart filled with gratitude.

Confessions of a Yelling Mother

Confessions of a Yelling Mother

May 3, 2016 | No Comments

I have a confession to make. I am, at times, a yelling mother. I am ridden with guilt for my inability to control my outbursts. You know what’s funny? I hate screamers. Raising your voice at me is a no-no; I cannot tolerate yelling and screaming. Makes it real hard to live with… myself. He was […]

4/30 #limbutza is getting better and better in the kitchen. Tonight we cooked #schnitzel with mashed potatoes and steamed string beans. He floured the chicken, cut the potatoes, and trimmed the greens. My First Ever Scrub-Down, Korean Style

My First Ever Scrub-Down, Korean Style

Apr 12, 2016 | No Comments

So today was quite the day. I developed a new (to me) cultural stereotype. Positive, don’t worry. I had my first day at a Korean Spa a.k.a. jjimjilbang, at Riviera Health Spa in Torrance. What an experience it was; rather upset that I had waited three decades to try it out. As someone who doesn’t necessarily appreciate unfamiliar […]

4/11 My heart is bursting with love. I did not love #Limbutza when he was a baby as much as I love him and #falcutza today. I believe with each birth (or adoption for that matter) your heart expands, the bottom of your heart sinks deeper and deeper in a universe of love, selflessness and […]

4/3 Celebrating a dear friend on her birthday. Driving up in our old hood, Beverly Hills, and loving every second of nostalgia as I pass our old house, look down Beverly Glen where we used to go for breakfast, lunch or dinner, oh, and the Valley lights seen from Mulholland – a view to die […]

4/1 Bedtime yoga! Grateful and happy to have my love of yoga to share with my curious little guy. This is a #fbf as tonight there was no phone between me, my son, and our connection. 🔴 When was the last time you spent more than 10 minutes without checking your phone? Sometimes I find […]

Mar 31, 2016 | Marvelous March

Mar 31, 2016 | No Comments

3/31 Usually looking back in time to assess a period is quite the exercise for me. I mean, there are days when I don't remember what I had for breakfast, let alone remember what I did or how I felt a week ago. 🙈 However, declaring March a winning month was easy. 🎉 So many […]
